Q - question

How to use spline as a breakline in Civil 3D?

A - answer You can easily convert a spline curve to a polyline of the same shape and use this polyline for your terrain model (DTM).

Use the SPLINEDIT command and its option "convert to Polyline". The PLINECONVERTMODE variable specifies whether your spline will be converted to arc (1) or line (0) segments.

You can do the same in older AutoCAD and Civil versions with the SplineConvert utility.
