CAD tip # 9464:
Question

If you have a large AutoCAD drawing (e.g. a map generated by a GIS application) where you need to find and fix (edit) tens of overlapping texts, you may use a freeware add-on utility CADstudio TxtOverlap.
This application finds and marks all overlapping texts in your DWG drawing and allows to go through (traverse) and zoom to all individual collision spots.
Download the Overlap or TxtOverlap utility from
Download, load it with APPLOAD and run the TXTOVERLAP command. Select the texts and mtexts to check - the application marks any collisions with red marks. With the NEXTOVERLAP command you can then traverse (and possibly modify/move the texts) through the individual marks with automatic zooms. See more information in Readme.
