Cannot see results of the DIVIDE/MEASURE commands.

The _MEASURE or _DIVIDE command places Points or Blocks along the specified line. To display points you need to properly set the PDMODE and PDSIZE variables. Try e.g. to set PDMODE to 2 (plus sign).
