The free DivBreak utility by Arkance Systems breaks polylines, lines, arcs, helixes and splines to individual segments. You can set either the number of segments or their length (measured along the curve). DivBreak combines the BREAK and DIVIDE / MEASURE commands.

The MMeasure subcommand allows you to select curves in bulk and interrupt them in segments of a specified length. It also lists the smallest and largest length of the to-be-broken lines.

Temporary arrows (breakpoint markers) are removed by redrawing the screen (by pressing [F7][F7]).

This utility can be downloaded from DL Download.

For an advanced segmenting of curves, use the Curve2Lin utility.
