Q - question

Deferring IDW updates in Inventor.

A - answer To defer updates in a .IDW file (for a better performance) you can set this option in the IDW file open dialog - select the file, click on the Options button and check Defer updates. Do not forget to update the drawing views manually on model/assembly change.

You can also defer updates on the current drawing - see the menu: Tools > Document settings > Drawing tab
