If you need to transfer a table from an AutoCAD DWG drawing to Excel, just click on the table (a TABLE entity), then right-click on it and choose Export... from the context menu.

The contents (data) from the table can be saved to a CSV format file - you can directly open this file in MS Excel, Word, OpenOffice, StarOffice, LibreOffice, etc.

You can export table texts and other DWG texts also with the DwgText utility.
