With this online software tool you can optimize the placement of 3D blocks (boxes, products, cells, parcels) of specified dimensions and counts into a specified volume of packaging (containers). You can optimally stack boxes into containers, crates, truck beds, wagons, shipments - so that the resulting unused space and total number of packages is as low as possible. You can transfer the calculated shape of the 3D volumetric elements to AutoCAD using the "Copy to AutoCAD" button. Enter the desired dimensions (width x height x length), counts and other default parameters into the packing optimizer form (incl. price and wall thickness). To calculate, click the [Pack] button.
In the results, you can click on individual rows of Packages and Boxes to view them interactively in 3D.
Note:
The optimization process uses the 3D Bin Pack algorithm. In not all cases does the generated layout represent the best strategy for maximizing the specified volume.
