Convert STL file to AutoCAD DWG format
This free web application converts (translates) any text- or binary STL file (3D stereolitography) to AutoCAD 3D entities. Choose your STL file (max. 20MB), start the upload with the "Convert" button and let the file upload finish. The result of the conversion (see the link on the result page) can be then downloaded and dragged to the AutoCAD window (SCR file), or directly opened (DXF file) - it will be loaded/imported automatically.

The converted file is available for download only for about 1 hour. The DXF format is supported also in other CAD applications like Inventor, Revit, etc. The SCR file is a script (macro) for AutoCAD - you can edit it to customize the results to your needs.
