Q - question

CHM help: Navigation to the webpage was cancelled.

A - answer After you download a CHM help file for a software application or add-on module, this help cannot be opened. After you launch (view) it, the help window will be opened but it is empty and displays only the "i" icon and the error message "Navigation to the webpage was cancelled."

This blank content is caused by a Windows system protection of documents downloaded from the internet (from a non-local zone). Right-click on the downloaded .CHM help file, choose Properties from the context menu and in the Properties dialog (the General tab) click on the "Unblock" button at the bottom. The CHM file will then open as it should.
