CAD tip # 14454:
Question
Unfortunately, there is no setting of the dimensioning style for this purpose. But you can use the freeware utility HideDIM0/b> and its commands HIDEDIM0 and HIDEDIMSM.
Download the LISP application from Download, load it into your AutoCAD or LT using APPLOAD and enter one of the above commands.
HideDIM0 hides all found "zero" dimensions. HideDIMsm allows you to hide all dimensions shorter than the specified distance - either from all dimensions of a given DWG, from selected dimensions or from linear dimensions only (so it does not hide radius/diameter dimensions, station dimensions or angular dimensions).
When selecting all dimensions it will "reveal" all hidden dimensions that do not match the specified condition.
The application is designed for standard AutoCAD dimensions (not, for example, Advance Steel dimension objects).
