Q - question

How to prepare a 3D model for manufacturing by removing detailed elements?

A - answer The CAD/CAM software Autodesk Fusion 360 has several tools for suppressing features on the model - e.g. for simplifying the model before manufacturing.

In addition to the ability to select a model wall and suppress it using the DELETE button, we also have an automated tool that can search the model and conveniently suppress the elements found (e.g. any small ones). Automatically or manually suppressed elements are stored in the Design History and can be undone at any time.

The procedure using the MODIFY > Simplify > Remove Elements function is described in the video. Towards the end of the video, the procedure for activating this functionality if it is not offered to you is also explained.
