Q - question

How to find volume of a 3D solid in AutoCAD?

A - answer Use the MASSPROP command - it will list the volume (and other characteristics) of the selected 3D solids (ACIS bodies).

You can also use the following LISP routine (thanks to MikD):

(defun c:vol ()
    (strcat "Volume is "
	    (rtos (/ (vlax-get-property
		       (vlax-ename->vla-object (car (entsel)))
		     1000000000.0 ;mm->m3
		  2 ;decimal places
	    " m3"
