Q - question

Mouse-dragging objects from one drawing to another.

A - answer You can copy and drag entities by mouse not only inside a drawing but also between two different DWG drawings.

In AutoCAD, open and display both (source + target) drawing windows. Select an object in the source drawing (by left mouse button - grip select). Now press and hold the right mouse button and drag the object to the other (target) window. Release the mouse buton and from the context menu select "Copy here", or "Insert to original coordinates".

If you copy a block reference, its block definition is copied as well.
