    Posted: 19.Jan.2009 at 16:43
I use Acad Mechanical5 in an office with several engineers that use SolidWorks. the only way i have found to import SW models into Acad is to save the solid works model in iges format then igesin to Acad. My problem is that when i make a 2d profile to save to a detail Dwg the imported items are ignored unless i explode them, if i explode them some lines are drawn as PH lines (hidden) when they should be PV lines (obj) does anyone know how to resolve this.
