Hi, I am trying to learn the XREF drawings of AutoCAD 2004 and I need some help.
My project requires several drawing sequences, up to 60 drawings. Each drawing needs a number with a revision letter "A".
Can I use the XREF to keep track of drawing numbers and revisions?
My reference drawing is a template (title block). This will be drawing 1.
Then I will need to create 2, 3, 4...60.
Can I use XREF or other feature to update the drawing number and revision? Revision letter will change and it will be much easier to change just one drawing than changing 60. Can this be done? How?
Any links? Tutorials?

Thank you!

If I understand your issue,
I'll create a title block as a reference xref for all sequence drawings and then create another block for the number/revision texts which is always changing in every drawings.

So, firstly, xrefs title block, then insert the numbering text onto title block. Explode 'em, and edit the number. You need to repeat the step in every drawings sheets.

Thanks,
Rman.
