Okay i installed AutoCAD last week and have been working on drawing up a front bumper for my truck so i can get em CNC cut for production. I just got done with it in 3D but i wanna know how you can color/paint it cuz now if i look at different angles i can see the lines behind it too and that's very annoying.

Thanks

Edit: forgot to say it's AutoCAD 2008

Here's a pic, it was pretty hard figuring this out as i've never worked with AutoCAD before.

Dudgy,

if you want to assigned materials, say plastic or metal, you need to draw you model in 3d.

to hatch other part of you drawing, just realign the UCS to those other parts. changing the UCS will change the X-Y plane. remember, hatch will always be applied on the X-Y plane only.
