orry - I'm not usually very serious either. Hard to read between lines in a forum like this... The emoticons help.![]() You're welcome for the tip... Chris is a great guy - quite a brilliant engineer, as you will note if you Google him. I really enjoy the challenging work I do for him. (Soon I'll have to put your xref info to the test... haven't had time yet.) Maybe you can help with another problem... My Mtext editor rotates the text to 270 deg and it stays that way when done editing. Then I have to manually change the rotation back to 0 deg. The Mtext command also uses 270 as the default. Do you know how I can change the default back to 0 deg.? (I originally posted re: this problem back on 03Jul08, so you can see other replies). Any help would be appreciated. No apologies necessary...
Sorry about the personal stuff... I'm self-employed and don't get out much . I just find other people and their stories interesting, I guess. I hope I don't get in trouble with CADforum!You should check out one of my clients... he's always looking for engineers (and he's truly multinational!). See stutzkiengineering.com and/or Google Christian Stutzki or Stutzki Engineering, Inc. _popupControl(); |

I live near Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA. Where are you in the UK? I worked in England (Tring, Hertfordshire) for about two months, but that was a long time ago. I've also been to Scotland several times to visit family. Both lovely countries. _popupControl();

Thank you - I will try that.
How are things in the Czech Republic? I am half Bohemian (my father's parents came to the US from Bohemia). I look forward to someday visiting the Czech Republic - I hear it is a beautiful country! Thanks again! _popupControl(); |
