Topic: Retain realistic view in layout view Posted: 22.Jun.2014 at 02:28
Thank you John you led me in the right direction. For anyone looking for the answer it is
under :options/display/color/sheetlayout/(then whatever color you want)
HOWEVER when I send it from DWF to PDF under plotter options so I can save it digitally it goes back the the white paper background. Does anyone know how to get around this?

Hello,
This is most likely something basic but I am very new to autoCAD. I created a 3D fireplace mask and I think it looks perfect in model space when viewed as realistic. However when I switch to the layout tab so I can save it to .pdf the color changes to dark black and looses much of its charactor. How can I control this? Any help would be greatly appreciated since I am learning autoCAD all on my own. Thank you in advance.
