Thank You Justin. It was not exactly the approach that I was taking originally, but since I downloaded the free demo version and found out how the utility works I think this thing will do the trick. I only wish I had found it earlier. I suppose it won't be long untill Autodesk has bought out this Lunereclipsesoftware bunch and put this utility into their express tools, but until then I suppose the 45 dollars for the program isn't a bad price to pay for an "add-on" that runs inside AutoCAD and handles key hooks the way this does. Tanks agin for the 411 budd.

Hey man sorry to see that you're having trouble. Try lunareclipsesoftware. I hope this solves your problem.
When you see it you'll sh*t bricks.

I remember back in the AutoCAD 11 and 12 days when I could use ANSI Escape to create and write hot key definitions for all shift keys, all f keys all alt keys and there were no limitations. Does any one out there have CUI mastered to the point that they can override the aperient limitations that the cui file places on this capability. Sure I can use Ctrl but I used to love the ability to put every command that I use on my left side of my keyboard. I even used shift combinations. Are there any AutoCAD Gurus out there that can help me get back the full key overriding capability that I used to have?
