If you are talking about Dassault's 2D CAD program called Draftsight then you are mistaken. It is not true 3D. I would not waste my time. There is a free version of SketchUp that you might find useful.

I see that DraftSight does have some 3D capability. I have a simple
drawing for a metal bag dispenser I would like to turn into a 3D model
in DraftSight if I can.
