4. Go to the manufacturers website and see if they have a CAD Block library.

There are NO pipe fittings that come standard as part of plain AutoCAD.  There may be some in Plant 3D but I'm not 100% sure.  You will however definitely find they are standard in a program called CADWorx which is an AutoCAD add-on.

So, if you are going to continue to utilize AutoCAD then you have the following choices...

1. Buy an add-on program.
2. Buy an after-market fittings block library.
3. Create your own fittings block library from scratch.

Greetings my name is Joseph blaisdell i am very much new to the auto cad scene. i have auto cad 2013 at work that is downloaded on my computer. i am an NCCER pipe fitter instructor and performance evaluator at the new nuclear build in South Carolina. my question is this, how or where are the symbols for the pipe fittings like : RFWN flanges, Tees, 90's,  things like that? i am getting the felling that i have to have something installed into auto cad that has them or is there another way to do it? any information is helpful. thanks!
