Hello everybody, on april 17, 2015 I was talking here in the site about the development of a transition piece with cadolcolic and John Connor and the discussion is still available in the site.
At that time, what was available for me was the use of RULESURF between 2 arcs with a good SURFTAB1 approx. 40 and SURFTAB2 = 2 + a 3D method to put it flat.
Eventually see the file RIZZA_01.dwg in the topic and/or the file ROND_CARRE.dwg in the CAD/BIM Blocks library.

On may 11, 2019 I saw a Tip named : unfold 3D surfaces to 2D in AutoCAD ( Tip 12237 ) and I nearly let it pass in front of me without registrating it but now I have made a first use of the application : UnfoldRS.vlx and it works very, very fine.
In fact that application was "just" the only thing that I was missing towards Solidworks.
Take a look at it.........................................................................................................................................................
