Hello P-CAD, have you tested the own AutoCAD tables including formulas and settings ?
I sometimes use them and I prefer them for "simple" uses, also because of the appearence and printings results.
I don't have "big" formulas to use and AutoCAD table settings are different to EXCEL.

My firm uses a specific text style to make printing schedules more legible, but when they make schedules they individually draw lines and text blocks and it's a tedious process I wanted to make more efficient by using Excel.
The problem is that when I import the table I select the table style in the process of importing it, and when it arrives it says it has the style applied to it, but I have to manually press into each cell to go into text editor and press on the style again for it to be applied. Is there a way to edit multiple cells at once/ensure that the text style is properly fit?
I also noticed every time I update the Excel file, it resets the text style I just spent multiple minutes applying to every cell.
