First of all thank you for your replies.

I was told to use a program called Mesh to Solid --> this program is able to convert wire frames to solids.

Your problem is that Drawing must be solid.
Try to export as *.DXF.

To save as .sat, you need to use the export option in files menu, select the ACIS format, and then select the solid in your drawing.
The objects to be selected must be solids or regions.
You can also use the command ACISOUT at the command prompt.

Hi,

I need to save a drawing as .sat , however I am receiving this error;

“Command: acisout

Select objects: 1 found

Select objects:

No solids, regions or ACIS bodies selected.â€

From what I can understand this is due to the fact that this drawing is in the form of a 3D wire frame (I’m not sure if this is the right term to use in AutoCAD).

Thank you in Advance

Darren.
