And what about join the map as an xref (or paste as block) and then  XCLIP it?
Or you can copy it as you did and than use EXTRIM (Express tools command).

Newbie question.

I have large map, I need to copy part of this map and paste in another file to create a smaller map. I know how to copy and paste but It's not what I need. I need a way to select a window and to copy just what is inside this window. If I have a segment of line that is part inside and part outside of this line I need to copy just the part that is inside.

Is there a command to do it? thanks.
