Have you installed Express Tools from the instalation disk? Try this suggestion from AutoDesk forum:

Quote If you've already installed the program, you'll need to go through Add/Remove programs on the Control Panel. Select AutoCAD MEP 2009 in the list and click the Change/Remove button.

When the Maintenance Mode dialog appears, click on "Add or Remove Features". In the next box, check the option for Express Tools. You'll need the install disk handy to add the Express Tools.

If you haven't installed the product yet, you'll have to click on the Configure button during install and manually select them. They are not installed by default.

Thanks,

Hello, Im running 2010 and have the same problem with no express tools.

guy from spain, T2M.LSP dont work, autocad error.

carlb, TXT2MTXT used to be my favorite command; if you dont have express tools, you cant use it.

So anybody, how can you convert single to multi without express tools being installed?

Hi Cad Aver. Just check the Tip 4059 at the bottom of this page, under Related CAD Tips, or in the Tips & Tricks section of this site. I'm sure it will be useful.

I am using Auto Cad 2008 and am periodically very frustrated.

How do I convert dtext to mtext? The previous method doesn't seem to work any more because I don't seem to have Express tools any longer.
