This is probably caused by annotation scales. See "slow copy" in the tip:

Maybe it depends from your PC Parameters. Ex- RAM ect. Is the same computer? |

I have just moved to a new office (I am using AutoCAD LT 2008) and when using the copy paste with base point function, I have been experiencing extreme delays (up to 2min). I have never had this before. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
