Or, is locked, unlock the layer. You can then edit, add, erase, work the layer.

In Perkasie, snowing, 0200 hrs, where's our blizzard?
More snow, ugh!

Got snowed in a Bubba's on Rt. 309 during a blizzard!
Wasn't a bad place for GF & I to spend the night. Fun.

If the layers are in fact not locked, as tankman suggested, you may be able to try 'laydel', and then type in the layer that the text is on (assuming you know). This command will erase the layer in addition to anything else on it.

Is the text on a locked layer? Check your layers one is probably locked; i.e.: TEXT.

There is a certain text blurb copied and pasted all over my floor plans and it will not erase...I cannot select it to edit it, delete it, move it...can't do a thing to it
