i had face the same copy & paste prolem with Autocad2008 version. approximately it was taken 18-20 minutes.. i used to solve this problem by -SCALELIST EDIT command only..
-SCALELISTEDIT (ENTER) RESET (ENTER) YES (ENTER) try ths command.. im sure i will work..

Well, you haven't told us anything about yourself. You haven't told us what type of work you do, what kind of experience you have, what you hope to achieve with Autocad, or anything else for that matter. So how are we supposed to tell you if Autocad is the right program for you?
The only thing you have done is exploit this forum to gain some free advertising via the link in your signature.

Go to Autodesks homepage, and download the application named cleanupscales. That will make your life much easier.
