Check out these links and follow the sets they show you. This should clarify what you need to do. after you finish make sure you do a REGENALL. your changes are made, but this makes sure the drawing is refreshed so you can see the adjustments you made.

Hey this is probably going to sound really simple to do but my experience on CAD is limited. Im using 2010.

I have been given a copy of a site plan for a course work and am required to plot a house on the site. I know I can do this by hand but know I can make it look neater on CAD as the copy given out is a little rough!

I have had a play around on CAD and cannot figure out how to sort out the scaling in model mode and layout mode and my plotting after readin so many guide. The drawing is to be on a Scale on 1:200 and tried to have a test daring a wall 29 metres by inputting 29000 into CAD and it was waaay too big after plotting! I should be ok If I can be advised on the following:

1) Setting up an A3 model Space

2) Set a scale for model space drawing and know what figures to input e.g. set up the drawing space to a 1:200 scale (I think this has to be set customised) and know which figure to input for each dimension e.g. what to input to draw a 1m wall? As i beleive I am getting this totally wrong with the 29m wall by entering 29000.

3)Plotting the drawing onto an A3 Sheet of paper in portrait mode with a title block and required notes in the title block and the drawing on the scale of 1:200.

Thanks!!
