hi,
I want to create pipe and export it in STL (ASCII) format. I want to import this in LIGGGHTS ( simulation software for granular research). I need that cylinder in triangulates so that pressure data can be written on it. Did you understand my problem?
Thanks for help..

But I thought you wanted a cylinder that's a mesh instead of a solid?

What do you mean by hollow cylinder? Are you trying to create a tube?

Can you be more specific about what you're trying to create?

Maybe try the REVSURF command. It will create a cylinder mesh rather than a solid.

Hi friends,
I want to export mesh in STL format. I want to draw 3D hollow cylinder, but I can not draw hollow cylinder in mesh. Can anybody guide me how to draw hollow cylinder in mesh not in solid?
Thanks in advance,
Ram
