Installation media can be program CDs or DVDs.

Excactly, I don´t have Admin rights because the Company have System Ingeneers to handle this kind of things. I´m an architect and work at a Construction Company located in another city but it´s building a couple of buildings at my home town.
The IT dept. as you call it install all the programs (including antivirus), does the back-ups, and do the repair and maintenance of all the equipment, some times they do it at distance by the net. Unfortunately most of them are not Cad users, so that limits a lot the understanding of many problems that we can have by using it.
What do you mean with "Installation media"?

So the IT department did not give you Admin rights to your own computer is what it sounds like.  I see this happen a lot in many companies.  Fortunately for me I do have Admin rights so I load my own software (other than MS Office and the anti-virus program).  I also take of of loading any AutoDesk service packs, hot fixes and bonus packs that come with being on Subscription.
Does your IT department have the installation media as well?
How big is the company that you work for?
What type of work do you do?

John,
I can´t try it because I don´t have the Administrator clue, I´ll let you know as soon as the system staff take care of my PC, which I hope I´ll be soon!
Thanks again.

Click on the Change/Remove option button.  This will force the AutoCAD installation option to open in "maintenance" mode.  You'll be given two options: Repair and Reinstall.  They are...

Repair My <AutoCAD> Installation. This option replaces all registry entries that AutoCAD initially installed and restores AutoCAD to its default state. If you are missing AutoCAD files, use this option.

Reinstall My <AutoCAD> Installation.
This option repairs the registry and reinstalls all files from the original installation. Use this option if the Repair My <AutoCAD> Installation option does not solve the problem.

Choose the REPAIR OPTION first.  See if that fixes the problem.

You express yourself well enough for me to understand you so there is no need to apologize.

I try to help to the best of my ability.  There are people on this forum and elsewhere who know a lot more than I do.  I benefited from their knowledge and now I am repaying the debt I owe them by passing it along to you.

At work I´m using Windows XP. As I have the same Windows at home, I tried to find the Repair option by going to "Add or Remove Programs" at Control Panel , but there it only shows me Change or Remove. Where does de Repair option suppose to show?

Excuse me if I don´t quite express myself very well, as I´m not an english native language person. I understand everything you tell me to do thoug, and I appreciate very much the time you spend trying to help other people with cad problems, you know a lot of this stuff!
Thanks again!

The REPAIR option will attempt to fix a fault in the program that might be due to a bad install.  Depending on your version of Windows it is usually found in Add/Remove Programs as part of the installed program.

What version of Windows are you using?
