I'm on your side with this one.  I think AutoDesk programmers are attempting to anticipate our every move and in so doing just end up frustrating us.  Personally, since we are the CAD techs, we should be making the decisions not the program.

HIi All,
 
 Can somebody explain to me, just to humour me, why hatching has become so annoying. Why is it that when I want to hatch an area on a plan, i hover over it and the preview hatch appears almost instantly, but when I press the button and comit to hatching that area it take and age to do it if it does it at all. How, why can it do the preview so quickly and do so badly with the real hatch.
 
 Ooooh AutoCAD 2013, sometime i want to launch you out the window.
