What is the problem with your templates?

Thanks John.

I am working from a stand alone system.
I have solved one problem by changing the Administrator settings and this then allows me access to the drawing files. But still have a problem with templates. The files are all on my internal hard drive.

If you are working off a network one possible cause is a timing conflict involving your server.

Where are you attempting to save your DWG files to?  What is the full path?

Due to a computer failure I have had to reinstall Autocad LT2013 on a new computer and I obtained the activation code. However when I open a drawing (installed onto the new computer C:drive) I keep getting 'this file is read only' even after unchecking the relevant box in drawing properties. I have attempted to copy the information into a new file but no luck, 'this file is write protected.
Any help to remove this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
