You can do that by using Sheet Set Manager. It does exactly what you described, and can do even more than that...

Hey

I have a couple of queries about various ways of speeding up the time spent doing drawings.

I hope there is a way of doing this on AutoCAD

I'm thinking it would be beneficial - in the title block where you might have job no, drawing name, date etc....when it comes to saving the drawing, is there a way to assign the 'drawing name' field to automatically appear as the name of the file you want to save, rather than manually typing this in every time?  For example, I hit save as, and the box appears and the name I have entered into the 'drawing name' field registers automatically. I find that I need to type this in several times, when only once is surely necessary!

Just a query, that would make my job a little easier.

Thanks for any solution, I'm sure there is one.

D
