Ryan,

This is not exactly what you're after, but it may give you a few ideas.  I've never tried something quite as complex as what you're after, but there's almost always a way.  You will have to convert your spreadsheet to coordinates however, or somehow figure out bearing and length values.  With those you should be able to build a spreadsheet where it then becomes a simple matter of copy and paste to the command line.

Good luck!
Dave.

Hello:

I'm new to AutoCAD and trying to figure out a way to create a template in Excel that will allow me to use my coordinates (XY) along with radius information to create a drawing using a SR file.

My biggest problem is, my line segments are a combination of straight lines and arcs and they vary in sequential order.

How can I put these coordinates/radii into an excel file which I then can convert to a SCR file to use in AutoCAD?

I have attached a sample of 4 different objects (shape of a fan blade) to show exactly what I'm working with. As you will notice amny of the segments use a radius but there are some straight lines as well. I do not want to have to modify my template for every object as I have hundreds of these objects I'm tying to create.

Any assistance or thought would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks in advance for your help.

Ryan
