Hello again jclong, I must be a beginner too because I'm using AutoCAD only since 1995 ( AutoCAD R13 ).

That's good to hear..    I've been using AutoCAD every day since 1985 (28 years) and I still found those video lessons helpful for even me.
A "Conclusion" is the point where you got tired of thinking..

I have found the AutoCAD training Videos from Infinite Skills to be very helpful.  You can watch, repeat and pause at will.   They have basic and Advanced skills lessons starting from AutoCAD 2010 to Advanced AutoCAD 2014..

I have no commercial interest in selling these lessons, I just use them myself.   Look for the lessons that use the Instructor Brian Benton.  I like him the best.  He speaks in a clear voice and adds extra information about WHY you would use a command, not just how to use the command like most books do.

Also, at this web site, they have a good selection of full free lessons that you can watch BEFORE you decide to buy a course.  For example, in the Learning Autodesk AutoCAD 2014 Training Video Course, there are 15 free full chapter videos from the actual course that you can watch first...

Take a look at the AutoCAD section.

They have many other courses in other software too....   Good luck!

Anybody have anything useful to add to the conversation?  The last two posts didn't.

You will only "disturb" me if you physically come to my house in the middle of the night and ask me an AutoCAD related question.  I doubt you'll do that.
