You can use dynamic blocks and fill the attribute value from the DWGPREFIX variable automatically (dynamically). See the functionality of Fields in AutoCAD.

I am needing a lisp routine that will get the dwgprefix and put it in an attributed block.  

Block name is "BDR_TITLE"
Tag Name is "FILE_NAME"


can't think outside the box if the never let me out of it.
