My bad.  I read the memory part but failed to notice it was in reference to the plotter.  I've got the same plotter and have had the same problem once or twice when trying to plot PDF files (which I hate with a passion).

Did you power down the plotter then restart it?

My mistake my friend;
 
The message is this:
 
Warning 71:06
 
Out of memory
Data was lost
 
I have a HP Designjet 500Plus.
 
I purge it, i saved it with another name, i saved it in Autocad2000..... still nothing..
 
Any idea?

Was it an "out of memory error"?  Never heard of a "memory lost" error.

Hi,
 
someone sent me an autocad file and when i'm trying to plot it; a message comes (on the plotter's screen) saying "memory lost".
 
The file is not heavy at all (just 0.5MB).
 
Why this happens?
