OK, so what is with the members who list their location as the United States but post to French websites?

And where did they get the "free" plans they are posting?

Something doesn't add up.  Malware?  Virus?

If it isn't spam then what exactly is it?

Well, amyenn88, we know your intentions were good.  But the purpose of forums like these are to ask and answer specific questions, not to offer unsolicited advise or commercial advertisements.  You see, when we see commercials here many of us tend to get upset.  If we think you've come here to sell us something we get upset...and you don't want to make a community upset with you.  So don't do that sort of thing.  Ask questions.  Offer advice.  Be helpful when it's needed.  Don't be a shill.  We will welcome you with open arms then.

But if you come here like you just want to profit you will quickly find a hostile reception.  Understand?  Of course you do.

Now let's get back to the reason we're here... learning CADD systems.  Okay?

Nobody just gives away free plans of that calibre so that makes me very suspicious of the intentions behind such postings.

Postings like that just waste space in my opinion.

We all may be a little more sensitive to this... let's just say, testy... than we'd otherwise be because of the recent spate of "Dubai Call Girl" spamming that's been going on at the Autodesk forums.  So we may be more likely to take our rage out on the amyanns... or whoevers... as a result.

We are simply hostages to the medium where the available cures are as bad as the diseases themselves.  This is why I suggest we simply ignore.  As much as we'd like to respond.

As a moderator in the Autodesk Elite forum wrote recently, I would echo:

There is nothing more to see here.  Let's move on.

With all due respect,
