Hidden lines never print anyway... so if you want those to plot you will have to use some other linetype.

Hello sungik, if you want to print hiddenlines you can generate a 2D object ( following a certain UCS seting ) with the command FLATSHOT with the option hidden lines.
Then you will have to separate the visible lines from the hidden lines with the command QSELECT.
Then I would also do an OVERKILL on each layer separately with all the options to eliminate the lines in double.
Tell us about your tests and questions...

Where does it say you can't see hidden lines in a 3D model?

Hello N° 2 sungik, there are so many things to do, to know without it being teached or/and easy with AutoCAD 3D and it looks like we are not so many to use ( compared with Solidworks, Inventor, etc... ) that I enjoy each occasion to talk with 3D AutoCAD men.
I'm a "self made" AutoCAD 3D man ( mainly with the paper book of the R13 release year 1995 ).
What kind of studies, drawings are you doing, do you use dimensionning in the model space or paper space.
Do you know the commands : SWEEP, SECTION, SLICE or eventally others of your own practice that would be usefull ?
John + sungik, when you talk about hidden lines, I guess that you are talking about dashed lines ( I think that it is if not you wouldn't have thanked me for the FLATSHOT command ).

Yes, I'm talking about lines that are dashed in a 3D model. Not talking 2D....3D.
