As I am retired now and cant afford those later versions of AutoCAd's I guess I will just have to put up with what I've got, unless I could get one for free but that's very unlikely.Thank u very much for your help.

I think you will also find many other unneccessary complications - either downgrade your OS or upgrade AutoCAD.

Cry Thank u for that.I've downloaded AutoCAD R 14 ok. But some items will not work, ie, script ,and some other stuff,but I can draw ok. Can u help please.

Download: yes, install and run: no. This is a very unbalanced combination of very old application version and very new OS version.
For Vista, you can use either AutoCAD 2008 or AutoCAD 2007 SP2.

My computor crashed and bought newone with Vista windows. How can i successfully download AutoCAD r 14 onto Vista ?
