Hey,
If you type 'xref' a toolbar should come up on the page, displaying all the xrefs in the dwg. Right click on the one you want to delete and select Detach....That should solve you problem!

Hi amy,

If i have a single layout ( i mean single paper space) i can detach a xref.
But if i have a multiple paper sapaces i can't detach. If we try to deatch, in the command prompt box this will appear:-
"Xref  X_(name of xref)  has multiple references. Not detached".

Cheers,
habeeb ismayil

Try erasing each xref, then detach.
