Can you help please..

I have a AutoCad 2008 and AutoSketchR2.1( I know rather arcahic). Is any way of saving a 2008 dwg file as a dxf file to be read by R2.1  The reason for thie question is that I still have a profiling machine that runs on the older software.

Any help offered would greatly be appreciated.

I am not sure but AutoCAD 2008 can save back DXF file in the version for AutoCAD R12 (which is rather old) - it should work for AutoSketch as well.
