Only 322 errors?  And you thought the drawing was OK because you purged it.

When you purge use the command line version and purge reapps and zero length text entities.  Do it now.  Then do this...

WBlock out the contents of the drawing to a new drawing and save to a different name; try plotting it.

Make it easy on yourself.
Type -purge at the command line.
Press Enter.
Notice what AutoCAD can purge from a drawing.  See Reapps, Zero length geometry and Empty text objects?  Those are important.
Just type "A" for All, press Enter and let AutoCAD do its job.

Here's something related to "Out of Memory" errors and DesignJet 500 & 800 plotters I found online.

Out of Memory problem. This Error Code only appears in HP
DesignJets 800 Series, or in the HP DesignJet 500 Series with an
HP-GL/2 card installed, when processing either a PostScript or HP-
GL/2 file.

Corrective Action:

Try the following:

Check the amount of RAM in the Printer using the Front Panel
(use the Printer Information utility Page 4-27). If necessary,
install more memory into the Formatter.

If the problem continues, try processing the file in the PC instead
of the Printer (select Avoid out of memory in Advanced options
in the Driver).

I did the purge, i did the wblock as you said but still nothing.

I read the online info you sent me.

I have 32MB. I think is ok.

But i'm searching the "avoid out of memory" in Advances options but i can't find it.

Those are my steps (Win XP)

Start>Printers and Faxes>Right click to plotter>advanced options....but i can't find an option as it said in your info.

Well that makes two of us.  I tried too.  Perhaps that is specific to the 800 model.

Not sure what to tell you at this point.  I know you said the problem is only with this one drawing but would you humour me and do a Printer Test Plot?

What is the source of the drawing?  Did you create it from scratch or did it come to you from outside the company?  A client or contractor?

No humour at all... Well i believe this drawing will make us(me) nuts.

I did the test plot and it's ok.

The client took it from the architect and send it to me.

I don't know...i rest my case......

have you tried to print the dwg as pdf? That could help.
Just one note: the size of plt and dwg has no relation. Try to print the dwg and see your printer what size is being actually spooled. We had in the past the same problems with the same printer and the same amount of memory, solved by upgrading the memory card.

Does the drawing use TrueType fonts or AutoCAD .shx fonts?  Just curious.

Is there a lot of hatching being used?
