That's good news.  How did you manage to do it?

Hi John, I opened a new drawing, opened blocks/new folder, located file in downloads, and BAM, there they were in blocks. perhaps I was just burnt-out from cramming 12 hr. in shop then 4 hr every night learning  to co-ordinate 3 different cad programs to be able to generate G-Code for my soon to be in the shop CNC, ether the ShopBot PRSalpha, or a Thermwood Cabinet Shop 43. They both use the software that I use but I have not made a final decision on which machine at present.

From what I saw in the online documentation, DoubleCAD XT can open DWG files and save/export to SketchUp file format.  So even if all he has is the free version of SketchUp he has a work-around with DoubleCAD XT.
