Hi everyone, I’m Terra from the D5 team. I wanted to share a recent workflow update that may be relevant to Revit users here. D5 Lite for Revit is designed to bring real-time visualization directly into the Revit environment, so users can review a model’s materials, lighting, atmosphere, and spatial qualities without setting up a separate rendering workflow. The main idea is to support visualization earlier in the BIM process, particularly for:
For more advanced output, projects can also continue into D5 Render for higher-quality images, animation, VR, and interactive presentations. I’m sharing this primarily to hear from Revit users: where does visualization currently fit into your workflow, and what would make this type of integration genuinely useful? For anyone interested in trying it, D5 Lite for Revit is available as a free download from the D5 website. I'm happy to answer any questions here about the workflow or pass your feedback directly to our product team. |
