When I do the Find and Replace Command I get a semi-colin in front of everything being replaced. Why is that? I double check to make sure I am not doing it by mistake and I cannot find any settings that maybe causing it. Also there is something else. When I go to plot, it takes me to the layout tad. Why?

If it makes a difference we use AutoCAD 2008.
