PDF to DWG converter

Hello,
I’d like to purchase a PDF to DWG converter but there are so many different applications out there – I do not know which one to choose. Could you please recommend any? What should I look for? Could you please share your experience in PDF to DWG conversion? Thank you for your help and comments in advance! |

I use an old version of pdf2cad.
A free trial is available online for much newer versions.

Edit anything however, if the *.pdf was created from within AutoCAD great!
You will have to scale the new *.dxf drawing, save to *.dwg and start cleaning your drawing.
Conversions aren't great but, a great help when in a pinch!
I wouldn't survive without a *.pdf to *.dxf, save to *.dwg and I'm off to the races. An excellent tool which you will appreciate having.

I would say get adobe. Then you have full access to add multiple pages, jpegs, word docs, ect. Or, if all you need is to make a pdf and be done, you can get freeware from many different companys and do like tankman said. The idea of pdf is once you make it you aint supposed to edit it...changing the dwg then reprinting to pdf is easier than converting back and forth, in my opinion.

oh wait, pdf to dwg? thats tricky man. gotta resize, all that. and its usually pixilated and not exact. Just re-draw the pdf! fun fun! lol

Fun, oh wow! Pdf to dxf, to dwg, a tough call but, does work.
I often use the conversion when time pressed, works. Yes, drawing over is frequent.
Re-doin' text often but, again, the conversion'll get you going in a pinch.
