Hello I'm new to this forum and have a rather odd problem that somebody may be able to help with. I use Acad 2000LT for a small amount of drafting work. I have recently started to run it on a Vista Business laptop (which obviously it was never intended to do). It works fine , but my drawing involves doing a lot of copying and pasting of objects and blocks within and between drawings. However the pasting option has developed a mind of its own, choosing from a random selection of previously copied objects whenever I select "paste" rather than the object I have just copied. This also happens if I try to drag and drop between drawings. The object leaves one drawing and converts to another object when it arrives at the second drawing. Is this just a case of using an old piece of software on the latest operating system or is there an obscure setting somewhere in AutoCad that needs to be changed?

You will see also other problems trying to run an old version of AutoCAD LT on an unsupported operating system. An unrecommended scenario...
